SLAM Video on Geographic Farming

This week, the 120-Day Listing Challenge is highlighting Geographic farming – which involves focusing your real estate marketing on a specific neighborhood. It’s crucial in a listing challenge because it allows you to target your efforts, build local expertise, increase visibility, and maximize return on investment. This strategic approach helps you dominate the area, generate more leads, and succeed in the challenge.

Often referred to as Geo Farming, agents consider it a strategic approach to establish a presence and dominate a specific neighborhood or area. The goal is to become the go-to expert for that community, building strong brand recognition and trust among local homeowners.

Geo Farming offers brand recognition, a high ROI, and oftentimes quite a number of referrals. The down side, however, can include your initial costs, your time commitment, and, of course, competition.

By focusing your efforts on a targeted neighborhood and establishing yourself as the trusted local real estate expert, you can generate more listings and build a sustainable pipeline of business over time. It’s a slow-growth strategy that, when done correctly, can result in long-term rewards.

The leaderboard changes everyday as everyone inputs their numbers – so don’t forget to input yours and share with everyone the fruits of your efforts. Oftentimes the competition is neck and neck, so be sure to check out the latest stats! It’s competition, but it’s also inspiration!

The Leaderboard tells just a part of everyone’s story. And there are a lot of stories out there and each should be celebrated!

I made 61 calls this morning. Left 15 voicemails, and no conversations! I was kinda bummed out. And BAM! Got a call back and set a listing appointment! Never give up! Pick up your phones and dial with reckless abandonment!” – Andrew Valaitis

A new buyer lead! I am showing them a $3 million dollar property! I have a good feeling that they will buy it and yes of course through me. Also, I had a call for a listing to go on the market ASAP. Celebration time! When we share our wins more wins come flooding in!” – Dora Bergen

I just sold my $1.8M listing; a buyer purchased $2.6M; another buyer bought $600k, and I leased a condo for $2600…all this week!” – Leilani Evans

Keep those stories coming; they’re an inspiration to everyone!

Shout out to Denise Klein for posting a friendly challenge on WhatsApp and offering a $25 Amazon gift card as a prize for setting and committing to your DSH points for the day!

And, as always, remember, the 120-Day Listing Challenge, while a competition, is also all about community. You’re not alone, so input your numbers, join the conversation on WhatsApp, sign up for the Power Hours, and share your experiences on the Check-in calls.

You’re in the running and we’re only halfway through! You’ve got time to up your game and show your colleagues what you’re capable of! We believe in you and we’re ALL here to help each other!

Celebrate your wins; celebrate you!
