Before we delve into the Threat Elimination System, let’s break down the SWOT analysis. This analysis comprises four quadrants: strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.

  • Strengths and Weaknesses: These are internal to you.
  • Opportunities and Threats: These are external to the market.

We focus on how to leverage your strengths to capitalize on opportunities and, crucially, how to turn threats into actionable sales strategies.

Identifying and Transforming Threats

In the real estate market, for example, threats can include increased interest rates, inflation, or rising housing prices. Instead of viewing these threats as reasons for failure, we ask, “How do we take this threat and create a sales system that moves people from fear and anxiety to engagement and hope?”

Example of a Threat: Increased Interest Rates

Consider a homeowner with a 2.5% interest rate who wants to sell but fears the higher rates of 6-7% for a new home. This is a significant threat: increased interest rates can discourage selling. Another threat might be limited inventory, causing homeowners to hesitate putting their houses on the market.
