Mortgage rates remained flat last week and near record lows making it a great time to refinance. Last week, a federal district judge, John W. Holcomb granted motions by the National Association of REALTORS® and three MLSs to dismiss an antitrust case brought by PLS.com LLC, a private listing network based in California. This spring will likely be another fiercely competitive one for home buyers. Those thinking of getting into the market this spring should brace themselves for a competitive season, especially in the market for existing homes.
