Joshua’s journey began in a vastly different field: working in a maximum-security prison from the age of 19. Over time, he realized he was trapped in his own “9 to 5 prison”. The lack of growth opportunities and the daily grind made him yearn for a career change. With no experience, little money, and not the greatest credit, Joshua faced the daunting task of transitioning into real estate without a clear roadmap or support system.

At that time, I was 23, 24 years old. I had very little money, didn’t have any credit, didn’t have any experience; I had nothing whatsoever. I started realizing that I was in the prison myself, the 9 to 5 rat race. I didn’t see longevity in that career 

Joshua’s primary goal was to break free of both of his prisons and build a successful career in real estate. His ‘Why’ was to provide financial security for himself and his family. He also sought to elevate his professional life by eventually transitioning into real estate investments and having the option to retire by the age of 40.

Joshua was introduced to Workman Success Systems after attending a seminar hosted by Verl Workman. Attracted by Workman’s focus on building systems to scale a business, Joshua decided to invest in coaching. His coach, Sarah Michelle Bliss, immediately helped him organize his business and implement a number of systems, like Sisu to track his income and streamline operations. This newfound structure allowed Joshua to significantly increase his productivity and income, achieving six figures in GCI by the first quarter of 2024.
