Paige’s strategy was clear from the start: focus on listings and control her time.
She understood that listings not only allowed her to manage her schedule more effectively, but also positioned her as a go-to agent in the market with $100 million in sales. With the guidance of her coach, Paige raised the bar for real estate services in Gig Harbor.
Here’s how Paige did it:
When Paige moved to Gig Harbor, she knew only two people. She faced the challenge of breaking into a small, tight-knit community with an average home price of $850,000. Despite having no traditional real estate background, Paige set out to carve her niche in this luxury market, knowing that being from California could be seen as a barrier.
“I moved here and I knew two people. I came in hot from California, probably pissed off some PTA moms and said, ‘What the hell, I’ll get my license…’ My first year, I didn’t even work in Gig Harbor. I started at a price point of $200,000 and took everything I made to reinvest back into Gig Harbor.”
Paige’s goal was clear: within five years she wanted to be one of the top agents in her market. She knew that by focusing on a specific clientele and delivering unparalleled service, she could build a sustainable and successful real estate business while staying true to her strong entrepreneurial vision.
In 2017, Paige adopted a laser-focused marketing strategy to establish herself as a premier agent. Rather than spreading herself thin, she invested every dollar she made in lower-price markets back into the Gig Harbor community. She prioritized marketing herself to sellers and focusing exclusively on the Gig Harbor market, building trust through authentic engagement. With the guidance of Jim Knowlton, her Workman Success Systems coach, Paige refined her operations, improved her time management, and set clear boundaries, which has led to a more sustainable business model. By 2023, Paige had $100 million in sales.
“Jim’s pretty straightforward with what needs to be done. He’s very patient and knows that there’s a process of adoption. The adoption rate on this kinda stuff takes time, and eventually, it all clicked.”
“You have to stay in your lane and focus. We stayed focused on Gig Harbor and a specific type of buyer, and that’s how we were able to cut through the noise.”
“My biggest win with Workman was finding more time, more hours in the day, and not losing steam on the business side.”
Paige’s journey from a newcomer in a small town to a top real estate producer is a testament to her relentless drive and focus. She attributes much of her success to staying true to her vision, making strategic investments, and finding balance between her growing business and personal life.
“How do I go play with my kids more? How do I stay more engaged? How do I at least have some downtime and not spend Q4 in bed recovering from the year?!” With Jim’s coaching, we’ve done better. It’s about giving more self-care, not burning out at the end of the day. This business is exhausting, but finding ways to stay engaged and have downtime has made a huge difference.”
Paige’s story is one of perseverance and dedication – and with the help of her Workman coach – finding structure in her business and balance in her life.
